“Hope is the little voice you hear whisper ‘Maybe’ when it seems the entire world is shouting ‘No’!                                                                                                      -Anonymous

To me this picture depicts an expectation of better aspects of life in the future. In Sudan many people go through so much and wish that they had their lives back to normal because of the war. Everyone tries so hard to protect their lives, property and even children are forced to fight in the wars too. The people of Sudan do their best and only hope for the best to survive and have peace. They want to see their brighter tomorrow. In this picture, with the hands together with ‘Hope’, is showing me the patience and wish to recover. The colours of this picture are dark. The darkness that surrounds the locked hands shows the fear, war, disharmony etc. The fist with ‘Hope’ shows the people who rise from despair and that they have fought for their reconciliation. The people in Sudan have believed and had faith in everybody to unite.
